PASARC was launched with the objectives to create a state of the art research institute to fill the existing gap between policy and research. This can be achieved by harnessing the collective wisdom of not only the faculty of PASARC, but also the 850 serving P.A.S officers and retired CSP/DMG officers, besides eminent scholars from all fields of life. In order to ensure independent and unbiased research, the institute is autonomous from the government.
